This Privacy Policy explains how DripVivo ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the DripVivo mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not access the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

Account information: your full name, username, email address, and password when you register.
Birthday and gender: your date of birth (required, to confirm you meet our minimum age) and, if you choose, your gender. These are private and never shown on your profile.
Country or region: the country you choose for your account, used for things like currency and the rules that apply where you live.
Profile information: profile photo, bio, and any other details you choose to add to your public profile.
Content: photos, videos, captions, comments, and messages you post or send within the app.
Communications: messages you send to us via email or through our support channels.

Information collected automatically

Usage data: features you use; posts you view, like, comment on, save, share or drip; how long posts and videos stay on your screen and whether videos are watched to the end; fashion items and brands you open; searches; and notifications you open.
Location: if you allow location access, an approximate location for your account at city level (we do not store your street address or exact coordinates). A post includes a location only if you turn on its location setting, and then only to city level.
Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and app version.
Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and error logs.
Analytics: information about how you use the Service, collected with Google Firebase Analytics and linked to your account ID, together with an age range, gender and country. You can turn this off in Options → Ads & data → Share usage data.

Information from third parties

If you choose to sign in via Google, Apple, or another third-party provider, we receive basic profile information (name, email address, profile photo) as permitted by that provider and your settings with them.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account and personalise your experience, including choosing which posts appear in your feed based on the themes, creators, Runways and Moments you engage with.
Confirm you meet our minimum age and apply age-appropriate protections.
Show you personalised ads based on your activity on DripVivo — only if you turn on Options → Ads & data → Personalised ads (it is off by default).
Measure how features are used so we can improve them.
Display your content to your followers and to the broader DripVivo community according to your privacy settings.
Operate and improve the Service, including fixing bugs and developing new features.
Send service-related notifications such as account confirmations and security alerts.
Respond to your support requests and questions.
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your content to train AI or machine-learning models without your explicit consent.

3. How We Share Your Information

With other users

Your public profile, posts, follower count, and following list are visible to other DripVivo users according to the privacy settings you choose. Direct messages are visible only to the participants of that conversation.

With service providers

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the Service, including:

Google Firebase — authentication, database, hosting, storage, push notifications, and analytics (Firebase / Google Analytics).
Cloud storage providers — secure storage of your media content.

These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us and may not use it for their own purposes.

Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to address fraud or security issues.

Business transfers

If DripVivo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

Deactivating your account hides your profile and content until you log back in. Nothing is deleted.
Deleting your account starts a 30-day period in which you can change your mind by logging back in. After that, your account, posts, photos and videos, comments, likes, follows, messages and activity history are permanently erased, and your profile is replaced by a "Deleted Account" placeholder.
When an account is erased we keep a small record — your account ID, email address, username, phone number, and the dates you signed up and asked to delete — for up to 12 months, so we can respond to safety reports and lawful requests about recently deleted accounts. It is then deleted.
If we receive a valid legal request to preserve an account (for example from law enforcement or a court), we keep the data covered by that request for as long as the law requires, and delete it afterwards.
Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure cloud infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: request that inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected.
Deletion: request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection: object to certain uses of your data, including for direct marketing.
Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

DripVivo is not intended for children under the age of 13, and some countries set a higher minimum age that we apply where required. We ask for a date of birth when you sign up. If it shows you are under the minimum age, the account is not created; if an existing account confirms an under-age birthday, it is locked. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Your choices

Ads & data (Options → Ads & data): turn personalised ads on or off, and choose whether to share usage data.
Location: allow or deny location access in your phone's settings, and choose per post whether to show a location.
Private account (Options → Privacy): only followers you approve see your posts.
Login activity (Options → Login activity): see where you're logged in and log out other devices.

8. International Data Transfers

DripVivo is operated from the United Kingdom. If you are accessing the Service from outside the UK or EU, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the UK or United States where our servers are located. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your browsing experience and analyse site traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain functionality of the website.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email to the address on your account. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
